| Who I Am: | My name is Lauren Noelle. I'm a songwriter and lead vocalist, and I play guitar, violin, some bass, and keys for my main band, BEAUTIFUL DARK. I have another band, AnthesteriA, I am slowly breaking up our old band, STRICT 9. I live mainly in Phx/Scottsdale AZ, but I record and partly live in San Francisco, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. I work with bands in Germany, Italy, France, the UK and more. Most of my work is goth/rock/metal/industrial. I LOVE all kinds of music, but I embrace the gothic lifestyle.
Anything you want to know, just ask. Although I'm VERY busy, (I just got a soundtrack deal for a major motion picture as well!!) I will answer all my mail personally. When I get the band sites up, all of the band-members will write back as well. We aren't stupid as some other bands, we know who buys tickets for shows, the fans. I believe from my experience on myspace that it is important to keep in touch with the fans, we'll always do that. I can't count how many times a band asks me to listen to them, I do and comment, then I never hear back. OR I write to them, no reply. I'm talking about LOCAL-BAR BANDS with no label support, not answering their fans!! HOW RUDE!
I LOVE ANIMALS! A portion of our sales and merch goes to our favorite charities, CORNWALL'S VOICE for ANIMALS, (Cornwall, UK) and the HSUS local branch in Phx, AZ. I've rescued several animals. My main baby is Kyle, a 15 year old Umbrella Cockatoo, who has a plucking problem and hates men. She is getting better with lots of TLC! You will see lots of pics of her and hear lots of stories about her antics. I'm TOTALLY in love with her! I also have a 3-legged lil mutt named LUCKY. He also has epilepsy, like me. But he is ADORABLE, and gets along fine, even if he's a tad fat! I have a 16-yr old Pom, Brandi, a rescue, who is unfortunately in her last days. She's breaking my heart. I have 3 rescue Guinea Pigs, Zeke, Xander and Chloe. I adore them all! And I have 2 dumpster-kitties, they are about 10 now, and OTis the big boy has a digestive issue. He gets on fine too. Roxy, the lil black kitty his sister is finally giving people attention. We just had 2 cats and 4 pigs die in the past year, so I guess the heirchey has changed. They are my kids, and come first! ;) Lots of pics will be up, I'm sure!
So far I love this place. I hope you enjoy our band, BEAUTIFUL DARK. My nick-name I got from a club-owner here in Phx is "Queen of the Dark" I think that's hilarious, so I go by that on myspace. My Mom calls me CREEPY because I was supposed to be born Oct 31, and I loved to crawl into corners and hide from people! She still calls me that!
I deal with a BUNCH of health issues. I had my c-5-c-6 disc in my neck replaced with a cadaver disc (THANK YOU!!!) on Christmas Eve last year. I still suffer from issues with my left hand. It was paralyzed over 18mos. IT was a VERY hard time in my life. EXCRUCIATING pain constantly. It got to the point that the shoulder hurt so bad, I didn't/couldn't get out of bed over 3 months. Not even to shower! I still have several issues concerning my spine, more surgery and other health issues. I cope. I'm happily ALIVE. That is the reason we have no immediate shows and that I'm working in the studio as much as I can. We are planning a world-tour for next summer! Can't wait for EUROPE!
I love working with other musicians. Music is my life. If you would like to work in either band with us, let me know!
I hope you enjoy our music. It all comes from our hearts and souls. I'm a very caring individual, I get attached to people easily. What you see is what you get with me...although I have lots of layers and interests. I'm a very loyal friend, I'd give the shirt off my back for someone real and true to their heart. I'm VERY tired of drama, and bullshitters, friend whores and addicts. Don't bother! You will be blocked. Life is WAY too short and precious to waste being jealous or envious of others, trying to hurt people to make yourself feel better, living in the past, holding a grudge, lying and cheating. It's so much easier to just be yourself. I'll never comprehend people who are so small and insignificant that they feel they have to hide their true identity, assume a more "attractive" version of themselves, by making a fake profile. Drama queens, hackers, gossipers and shit-talkers are the weakest, saddest, most pathetic people alive. The reason they have to hide behind a pc is that they cannot be who they want to be in real lfe, they need to put other's down, hurt their feelings and portray a better image of themselves is that they are miserable with who they are and they just simply envy the people they try to harm. That's my biggest pet peeve with the internet. Be yourself, accept who you are, be real. If you are still living in the past, there's really something wrong with you. :P
I write constantly. I have several hundred journals. Expect alots of blogging from me. As you can tell I am opinionated. But, I'm real, love me hate me, just undersand, that this is me with all my imperfections.
I hope to make a lot of new good friends with real, honest people here. I love it here so far! Already several messages welcoming me!
